vehicle appraisals

Postby timb02 » Sat Aug 03, 2019 3:13 pm

Hi All, does anyone have a recommendation for the appraisal of a Traveller in Dorset? I have seen one at M&M automotive but would want to get a knowledgeable view of it before we travelled down to view/purchase as its a long way to go on some pictures of a shiny car. I also suffer from shiny things syndrome that causes me to make rash decisions when it comes to buying things for myself! any advice gratefully received. Tim

I don't know anyone in your area that I could put you in touch with, but hopefully, someone reading who lives down that way with Minor knowledge can take a look for you.

Well done. Certainly well worth paying for an independent inspection in my opinion.

Well that one was a bit full of tin worm and electrical issues so not for us, however another has appeared and the inspection was all good so just need to get the deal done and the car home.....

Well done! Sometimes you have to kiss a few frogs ;)
Just because a car is expensive and shiny it doesn't mean it's any good........
Glad to hear you've found a good one. Sounds as if you'd have had a disappointment with that first one :x

Not as disappointed as Di, it looked so nice in the pictures. Glad I spent the money on getting someone to give it a once over and avoided an expensive disappointment. Delivery on Sunday for the one found and given the thumbs up. Very excited :D
