Traveller rear shelf

Postby cococola » Sat Dec 15, 2018 6:49 pm

Just wonder if anybody has attempted making a rear shelf boot covering for a Morris Traveller and if so any pictures to share please?
Iam considering making one for abit of security but dont want to spoil the look of the inside.

Was thinking about it but chose not to do it.

Just for your info, the plan was to use the standard deck covering and metal strips, identical to the existing deck and all available.

That's a good idea Brian using the same strips would make it blend in to the style.

I was thinking roller blind, it could be quickly put out of the way when the boot was empty. Probably sag a bit though.

I've seen the roller blinds on the boot on other old cars and it would be case of making sure it was a tight fit.
Good idea for not taking up all of the space when the seats are done..hmmm food for thought!
