tube type dampers

G'Day All
Looking to replace the Front lever type dampers in my 53 with the tube type either oil or gas any suggestions for a good supplier ,I am am looking for a bolt in type as I do not have a welder

The JLH ones have a pin on the lower arm, I think he does exchange arms or you get the pin and weld it in, but the top mounting needs welding on so it spreads the load over a large area.

The bolt on ones are nowhere near as well engineered and you are probably better just ensuring the standard setup is working well with some thicker oil in.

Thanks guys I will look at the JHL site and may have to get a shop to do the welding.

As Sean says, the JLH kit needs welding, but it is a proper job, not a bolt-on.
