Good looking welds. It appears they were cut just outside of the rivets and the 2 inches added to the outside. Didn't you want to move the center any? The tire can get closer to the upper trunnion. Side views?

I intend to use normal wheels in winter and van wheels in summer , carrying a normal wheel in the boot , this then becomes a " space saver " in the summer.....

Thats it JOhn its an improved space saver really.
I love the look of the bandies because it doesnt spoil the look of the car and yet gives it a little twist. :D

HI guys - can you tell me who did the banding for you and approx cost?

Currently we're on MG Rostyles which I hate the look of and getting a set of standard steels off Ebay and then banding them looks like a nicer option

Thanks

Hi Graeme
The guy who did my wheel banding is Paul and he is based in Northampton at a small engineering firm. He charged me £60 per wheel and has done 3 moggies that I know of with no issues. If he is too far away it maybe worth couriering with Ipost parcels who Ive found to be the cheapest to use.
Pauls number is 07843604722.
cheers
Alan

Hi Alan

Many thanks - he is a bit away but as an ex inhabitant of Daventry then I am not amiss to a wee trip or two especially as we live at the edge of civilisation (or so it seems - takes DHL four days to get a 'next day' delivery done).
