Yeah it's a standard Chrysler color, they used it on jeep wranglers for a couple years. It is nice to finally have some visual progress.

Thanks for the compliments, can't wait to get the rest of the paint job finished. I fitted the fiberglass tailgate last night. It had to be drilled and tapped for the brackets. It's hard to believe how much lighter it is compared to the steel tailgate.

Thanks, it's slowly coming along. I'm not very fast and do not enjoy doing bodywork so it seems like a struggle at times to make forward progress.

I painted the cab back today. I have been working on it for around a week or so in my spare time and on weekends. It turned out good.

I have been trying to finish up the ductwork for the heat air conditioning for a while now. It turned out to be quite a large project. I used a Cadillac Escalade rear heat/ac unit and cut it down slightly, converted it to be cable operated and built a box to contain the unit. The unit is in the bed area because I couldn't find one small enough to fit in the passenger compartment.

There are vents under the seats and out the dash. The dash until has a lever that opens up a flap for the defrosters.

I insulated all the ductwork to help reduce temperature loss. The vents came from the junkyard from a Toyota suv and the round ones were from a Mitsubishi.
