Started a new project today 1972 MGB it needs floors sills rear valance inner wing repairs and new front wings, not bad for a car so called restored 3 years ago.

Ah yes, the good old MGB 'Grim T*rd'.

I owned a 1972 one for a year or so. Wasn't very impressed; the engine blew a hole in the No.4 piston after only 1,000 miles of ownership, very heavy steering (had to replace the kingpins too, as it failed the MOT on them), and no faster than my 1275cc Traveller, despite having twin carbs, 1800cc boat anchor and overdrive, just heavier on juice (only 25 mpg or so average). It had a nice throaty exhaust note though.

And, they do like to rust, particularly those complex sills! I ended up selling mine to a French guy, for about the same price I paid for it.
