Advice required please.
Noticed the coolant in my radiator was looking a red rust colour so decided to drain and flush the system. Could not get to the drain plug to undo so removed radiator from car. The car has a very rusty once yellow 4 blade fan. Question is do I take off clean up and respray yellow or replace with a new twin blade fan? The car is 1965 Convertible 1000. Like it to be original.
Thanks

Re: Radiator Fan
I did not think any had a 4 blade fan.
It was always possible to make one with two two blade fans fitted at right angles to each other.
If you remove it you may find that this is what you have.
Standard engine with standard radiator and two blade fan is usually ok.

Re: Radiator Fan
HI
Just FYI, all Australian Minors had four-blade fans from the factory (same pressing as 2-blade, crossed and a separate reinforcing plate in the centre.
I would think that this would be the case for African, New Zealand and Asian Minors too.
