Hi, I'll resize quite a few photos tomorrow night and I will post them at the same time, unfortunately I am unable to upload them as they are being too big.

:D Thanks Richy.

That's an interesting hobby. Seems like it was quite a task to renovate and I would love to see more photos even though I know nothing about such things.

Do you take it to shows?

No problem matey ☺ I've partially restored a Canberra bomber cockpit in the past too, had to sell all my stuff due to a nasty divorce so at long last I've got toys to play with again lol.

I will post more pics over the weekend.

Sorry to hear of past troubles; very draining I'm sure on many fronts. Glad to hear you have been able to start enjoying your hobby again. Not your average idea of fun though how did you get started? (You must have a fair sized garage or storage area to start with?!!!) Shall look forward to more pictures.

I was in the RAF for 20 years so I love aircraft anyway, but a good friend of mine got in touch with me and told me about a new hobby he's taken up..............The rest is history as they say lol. The cockpit is in a caravan storage yard, undercover and safe, albeit at a financial cost!!!!

:D shall look forward to seeing your update and photos. (Is that the same type of aircraft as involved in the Shoreham crash last year?)

:D switching info on photos - easily done in all the excitement of getting them posted! Looks like you have quite a job on your hands, I guess it will be quite a long term project?

Yes, it's a long, long term project! I need to get the moggy finished to free up garage space, I need to take everything out of it including 2 x ejection seats, control columns and we'll pretty much everything! Every component has 'daz' all over it and will need cleaning and painting, I was intending to go with a 'sympathetic ' restoration so as to not make it look brand new, but because of all the corrosion I have little choice but to go for a spanking new paint job!!
Just one little matter to deal with first................200 miles worth of welding on the moggy!!! Lol :D

Well not being in the know is 'daz' the crusty sort of metal corrosion? It certainly sounds like quite a mammoth task, surely the Minor is indeed a 'minor' project in comparison even if there is a mountain of welding to be done?!
