My Morris's rich cousin

Postby Ian McDougall » Wed Feb 12, 2020 8:21 pm

Hi
Pictures of my new purchase.1985 Jaguar Sovereign 4.2 auto.A late retirement present for myself. Has been resprayed a while ago ,Interior in very good condition ,a few small areas that will need attention,e.g. 2 small areas on rear arches, small area under rear screen, when the car was resprayed I think someone tried to take out rear screen ,tried to lever out mouldings not realising they are bonded in.Buggered them and fitted the rear screen with the morris style rubber and chrome insert ,mouldings no longer available.Managed to get a screen and mouldings off a car being broken.got them to cut out of roof leaving me to retrieve mouldings. Calipers have already been changed, its a rear suspension drop to change the rears. Will drive for a while see if I can afford the fuel.
Also am restoring 1970's Audi 80 B1 for a friend ,might put up a few photos if he says its OK
