Can you fit the shrouds from an old metal unit to the new plastic unit?

If so I have some old units so must have some spare shrouds if no one nearer does.

Don't think so Sean, it looks like the shroud is part of the metal casing, I certainly didn't try to pull mine apart.
Certainly not a dim back light, just filler than the other one. 8)

Forgot to say, many thanks for the wheelboxes Sean, but sadly the spindles were too short, so just ended up buying new ones.
Wiper arms really tight on same, so no more wiper arms making their bid for freedom, as I cross the border :brave:

No worries, it was worth a try.

Glad you got it sorted in the end.

Summary of Mabel & my 2016 trips etc in photos
(Although I had to cancel attending a couple of shows due to work again! Surpassed 2015's mileage by a fair bit - just what I built her for :D)

James - what size wheels and tyres are those - nice to see something other than low profiles.

Nourish;
Front wheels are 3 1/2 x 15 with 145 x 15 Michelins, Rears are 7 x 14 with 205 x 15 BF Goodrichs.
Cheers.

I'm presuming that's a 205 x 14 Goodridge rear tyre as you can't fit a 15" tyre on a 14" rim!

Last two for 2016 - I think!
Gave my niece away on her wedding day(18 November) and assisted by taking her husband to be to wedding location in Mabel, with Bestman & Groomsmen following on behind in the VW (sorry Pete!)
