Wow!
Just one question, if that's an english axle, whats going on with the back of the diff housing (5th picture) - doesn't look anything like mine.

Hi Andy,to answer question on axle,it has large pan welded on back to carry extra oil,it's mk1 cortina as is 1" shorter than standard moggy axle, has 3 j lsd diff with super strong strange shafts 18 spline, built by Andy Robinson.Plus yes 15 years been long time ,got side tracked with big super bikes for sometime but broke me back at work,so no longer ride(well got bsa b50 scrambler),so now getting stuck in to me motors

A lot of work there, and it looks to be really well done!

All looks a bit heavy though, what do you think the finished car might weigh?

Also you look to have nothing at the front that will crumple - just a slight shunt at the front and the whole thing will be wrecked. In a more severe shunt that tubing will come straight though at you.

And with such a radically modified chassis/body will you need an IVA test? See here www.gov.uk/vehicle-registration/radical ... d-vehicles

The finished car gonna be about 850 kilos,so pretty light, all tubing is high quality FIA approved and very strong. As the car is a 58 no mot required.

Hi that's a really nice build. What power is the engine putting out and will you be using the car for road or for track.

Cheers, engine about 320-350bhp at wheels depending on how much boost turbo set at.Its a GT30 roller bearing turbo with small exhaust housing so should have very little lag, light flywheel,so engine should Rev freely.Going to be road car as well as track days and bit of drag racing.
