well, this should be my final post on this thread: I've now put about 6-700 miles on the Traveler since finishing in late-April. So far, nothing to report re; problems - the car has been great, only issue of note has been a squeaking from the front end that turned out to be me forgetting to tighten up the shock tower bolts. Other than that, its a very easy car to live with, even my wife has driven it and likes it. I spent time cleaning up the workshop, managed to sell the remains of the Miata, gave the Morris mechanicals to my friend with his 1958 trav, and sold the rest of the Morris stuff to a guy from Dallas. I'm posting a final photo of the car at home with its companion (my last fabrication project, a Chevy-powered Midget-Arkley).
Please feel free to contact me if anyone else is contemplating a Miata-Morris build, its well-worth the effort.

Hello everyone. I've had a change of circumstances in my life and unfortunately now must sell this car. I am asking 19,950GBP which is less than the price of the parts in it. The price will include shipping to a UK port (I'm based in Texas). Contact dvdrowan@gmail.com, or +1-281-541-1243 for details
Very tempting if I won the lotto.
Joking aside this car is worth every penny as the work put in was top class, good luck with the sale, sorry to hear of your change of circumstances hope all goes well with you
regards Ian
