My long term project , morris truck v8

Anything goes - chassis, V6's, V8's etc.
This was the only way I could find to get a/c and heat. I had an escelade that I was junking so it worked out well. The fresh air recirculate vent is a modified Morris flapper. I still need to run all the lines but that's a job for later.

I finished my 2-speed mgb wiper conversion, I done it a little different than I have seen, mostly because I wanted to retain the Morris wiper cam to ensure that I would get the correct sweep.

When using the Morris cam you can't use the mgb cam to cable link so I welded the mgb and Morris link to make one that fits the Morris cam and had the correct offset to fit the mgb cable.

To Get the park in the right position I ran the motor till it parked, marked the gears so I could make sure it didn't move wile I was making the new marks. I raised the cam up out so the cam could turn leaving the gear in the same position. The clap hands Morris wipers are in the most downward (park) position when the cable Is pulled to it's furthest position of the cam. I remarked the cam when in the furthest position so new locating grooves could be cut in the cam.

The cover of the mgb was a bit too short and would rub the Morris cam so I combined the raised cup off the Morris wiper motor with the mgb cover by cutting a hole in the mgb cover then tack welding it in to hold it in place

Made up a sheet metal kick pannel today to cover the 2-speed mgb wiper motor. I'll cover it with carpet.

finished the main can carpeting last week. It was glued down with headliner glue. I was pleased with the results, the carpet is not the thickest but it was just what I needed so it could stretch around all the contours of my oddly shaped floor.
