It's an old pic. The area where the Beach Hop is held was badly flooded just last week. The forecast is pretty good for next weekend, but it can be wet - we've been going for about 10 years now, and I take a wicking car cover with me now.

One of our house mates last year had a water leak in his hotrod which lead to the ignition control box filling up with water. It didn't want to start for some reason!

I'm interested in whether you have got the car road legal in NZ yet James, or are you still running on the 1-year import status?

hi there, it was the best show i've ever been too. some really nice cars well built and very well turned out, I'm sorry we didn't meet, my car travelled there and back to tauranga with no problems, did the parade and got a little hot near the end but didn't cook it self so very pleased.

hi just thought I'd post an update, the traveller is running well been out a few times, just had the photos delivered that were used in it's recent beach hop show, which it features in the beach hop annual. I hope to get it up the strip soon then tear it down to sort gearbox and rear axle. A few other little jobs on my list!

Well its been a while, Some of you know that I crashed my morris into a tree last year and have moved back to the uk, I have rebuilt the car with a metal lowlight front end, Ive fitted it up for its journey back to the UK and now I will take it apart again make a new holding panel that supports the front end as I used the old one which was a little bent up but needed the car to be together for transporting back to the UK. A little video of it with the new front end

yes at present although my visa is indefinite so I can go back, but it won't be for a while until i recoup.

Hopefully I'll get it to some shows this year, can you remind me pete of the web page that sold the headlights for lowlights?
