5 years now since i touched it, but it may be on it's way to someone new. I've spent more than double on it that i'll be getting back, but that's life I suppose. Totally lost interest and too many other toys to play with.

Well, that was a 'no' as it was a bit more work than he anticipated. Ideally, it needs new front chassis legs (not rusty, just poorly fitted then jacked up on). I may have a cunning plan for it, so watch this space (won't be in a hurry though lol)

I decided that if I don't do anything to Mabel now, then i never will. It was tucked under a whole load of stuff in it's resting place surrounded by kids toys and other stuff, so I've now cleared it out and having moved Muj away for the winter I've got space to work now. Basically, it's getting new full chassis legs, engine bay floors and the JLH strengthening kit fitted to it. Hopefully will get stuff ordered soon and crack on.

I've started - just have to download pics from my phone. I leg off so far and mocked up new one - not the best job in the world repairing bodges and layers of blunderseal.

Surprised you haven't tricked out the mobility scooter as well - looks standard!

Does the crossmember pivot UP on the right-hand side??

John ;-)

On longer looking it pivots forward??

It's just placed there, and tie plate fits under it, not just laid on top - nothing is welded or bolted in yet. That was just a trial fit to see how it would look. Tomorrow I'll refit, measure up and weld. Today was priming and painting inside new legs, and cleaning more blunderseal off, and finding new holes on inner wing.

Scooter is sold. Sadly, my Uncle passed away suddenly in January at 96 years 6 months, so no need for it anymore.
