It did cross my mimd but when driven in cool weather you need something, albeit pretty poor, something in an attempt to demist the screen.
Even Open Quarter lights don’t offer that much.

Well things have all been happening in the back ground.
After engine was fitted it had to come out and have all engine and gearbox mounts remade as the new clutch fowled the steering rack. :|
Delay, delay...
But, things got sorted and off it went for some further work. ;)

Fired it up today for the 1st time and even went for an MOT.
W/c 5th August should see little mods sorted.
Ordered period style K&N Air Filters to keep that Period look going.

While at the Garage, and after a few nice comments, a gent came up and examined the engine and said, "Nice BDA Motor." Perfect comment.

Getting close now and PU should make it's re-lease at Retro Rides Gathering 2019..

See you there and, if you ask nicely I may even take you for a spin up "The Hill".

What actual engine do you now have fitted, and what became of the Lotus twin-cam?

Lotus Engine, Engine Mounts and Exhaust Manifold are sitting in my garage waiting for the right buyer. ;)

As for its new heartbeat, BDA styled Engine is the chosen replacement.

Nice. I presume you mean a Zetec/Duratec made to look like a BDA?

No pics or anything to report, But it’s getting closer...!!!
Passed its MOT and Week commencing 12th August 2019 is quiet big in the final metamorphosis of this wee Pick Up.

Weather permitting it should make its return at Retro Rides Gathering at Shelsley Walsh, Sunday 18th August 2019.

Frustrating is a word I’d use to describe the past 9 months but hopefully “It’ll Be Worth It?”
