Has anybody used the cast sump by retro ford, for the zetec conversion looking for some feed back on whether it works, easy to fit etc. Big difference in price compared to the raceline sump.

I use a cast retro ford one on my Escort ... Excellent sump and loads of room for the starter motor.. The sump I had on there before wouldn't clear the starter ..
Its not a cheap sump but I think its worth the money.
Wish I used one when I built the car, then wouldn't of had the pain of having to fit one once the car was built..

The Retro Ford sump , did have sealing issues, not sure if it still has. We only use Raceline sumps as they are by far the best design, road or track, not much in it cost wise really.
