Front and rear heated glass

Postby Sleeper » Fri Oct 12, 2018 3:47 pm

Dear All
Am pondering the fitment of heated glass front and rear , the three usual suppliers all do them , at similar prices , but are there any differences?

Are the wires ( filaments ) on the surface or in the glass? , are they visible? has anyone any experiences ?

All comments welcome before letting the moths out of my wallet...

John ;)

P.S. Hope to do a roof lining change at the same time and yes,the big alternator will be OK powering them...

I’d be interested too.

Could do with one in the work van ready for the winter.

only reference I have found is on the front one you need to cut a small section out of the rubber for the wires to attach

When its done its done (for now)

Hot water bottle in driver side glove box was an early alternative
