Postage rates

Bull Motif
I have to say that whilst the parts prices are reasonable, a minimum charge of £50.00 for postage is unjustifiable. Could you imagine ebay allowing you to sell a T shirt for £3.99 and then charging £50 postage?
The item I wanted was £23.70 inc VAT + Postage and was a small pulley wheel for the front of an engine. The operative said it was to cover costs outside their control. Nonsense, it's profiteering on a grand scale. Or am I wrong?
