Hello from Durham

If you are new to the board or have never made a post before, don't just lurk around, post in here and introduce yourself and your Minor if you have one. It would be great to hear from you.

Hello from Durham

Postby Arborexplora » Thu Jan 05, 2017 6:08 pm

Hello everyone! I'v been lurking around for a little while and have found some great threads. I'm Richard and I am completely new to the Morris scene (although I have ended up buying 3 in the past 6 months). I usually restore and keep vintage tractors. I first bought a 53 split 2 door which requires quite a bit of work (someone did start welding but it's pretty poor), I then bought a 67 which was to be a donor but it has full history from new and I am too sentimental and finally I just bought a 68 2 door rolling shell. I've decided to start with the later although it does need full floors and sills. I'll post some pictures on a new thread.
I look forward to following your restorations and I am sure I will be asking one or two questions. Cheers Rich

:D Welcome to the forum Richard. Great to see you have already started a thread on your rolling shell project. Do you also have any photos of your vintage tractors you could share?

Great looking tractors.
I prefer David Brown's but modern ones, would love a 1690 4wd.
Welcome along.

Thank you. I like David Brown's too. We have a 1190 2wd with loader that had only 1400hrs when we got it 5 years ago. Hasn't done that much since either.
