new owner in France

If you are new to the board or have never made a post before, don't just lurk around, post in here and introduce yourself and your Minor if you have one. It would be great to hear from you.

new owner in France

Postby minixav » Sat Dec 22, 2018 6:27 pm

hello,
for few days I am the lucky owner of Bernie, a 1964 'Morris Minor 1000.
This name was given in 2011 by his first French owner .
I live near Angers in the west of France.
Bernie will join his little sisters (Austin mini) and allow me to ride every day.
Xavier
(sorry for my approximate english)

thank you for your welcome.
First diagnosis after a week : oil leak, some bodyparts to review : floor, right chassis leg, left rear suspension fixation to change, rear brake cylinder and headlights in English configuration ..... the French MOT did not find anything else.
Some pictures.
Follow the repairs here (in French :D ) :https://www.facebook.com/bernie.morris.31521

Always fascinated by Moggie repairs, start small and sometimes lead on and yet these are fabulous cars to work on and learn at the same time. :)
