breakdown

Postby ruairidh » Sat Oct 27, 2018 6:24 pm

Been of work for last two weeks, just burst in to tears at my work. :(
Went to GP and got medication changed and am feeling a lot better back to work on Monday.
Close friend in the Scottish Branch died and I think that brought things to a head.
Trying to focus on positive things.

Know how you feel. at my work they expect twice as much work out of half the staff with no training and wages worth less every year. I plan to fix this by retiring early and taking my knowledge with me. The rate of absence from work due to stress is at an all time high. Management fail to see that good staff are a valuable resource and should be looked after better.

Sorry to hear you are going through a rough patch again ruairidh. Glad you were able to change medications and they seem to be helping but take it easy and if you need more time off work then take it and give yourself time to get back to feeling OK before tackling the pressures of work.

Sorry you are not feeling your best buddy.

Hope the new meds help and you can get back to your cheery self soon.

Thanks all.
It's not pressure of work just think it's change to routine as I have to do more hours in Glasgow which means I may get stuck in traffic and I just get up tight.

I know what you mean. So frustrating in heavy traffic these days. I generally play a bit of classical music or a talking book. Passes the time.

Hope you are feeling a bit better today.
