Any of you that have come to my house for a meet will have met my dog Fergus, he is also my avatar.
Unfortunately we had to have him put to sleep on Friday as his back legs had gone.
He was 13.5 years old so had a good innings but the house is so empty now.

:( Sorry to hear your buddy Fergus has that nasty trip to the vets. Never pleasant and no doubt you're feeling guilty even though there was no choice. Feel for you as indeed a house is so empty when our furry friends are no longer there to greet us.

Farewell Fergus, you've had a cracking innings, which I'm sure was a lot of fun with Family Campbell. Gone but never forgotten.
Please please keep him as your avatar, especially when I think of some of the images of you from Pateley or from the Nationals.
Like me, you have a face for radio :raz:

Thanks Campbell for your kind words on Monday when our dear Lily went to play with Fergus. Both reaching the age of 13.5 yrs is something amazing. They leave such a huge hole when they have been part of your lives for so long.

:| Sorry to hear you have had to say bye to your furry friend too BIgAl - as you say Lily may have reached quite an old age but I'm sure she is sorely missed.

My condolences too Big Al for your loss, but clearly she had a great long life with you and has left you with many happy memories.
I still regularly reminisce about our first Boxer, Bracken, who I grew up with and then Kori, our Doberman, who basically went through my teenage life at my side, such great friends and family members.
