Re: WAP347 THE RESURRECTION
Jetting sorted Dunk S/P ran ok last year but a bit lean flat out So had to do the opposite of what I'd read
When on full boost was the issue so had to drill main jets out & put small air corrector jets in till eventually I could get it rich

Re: WAP347 THE RESURRECTION
Great looking engine, but doesn't that throttle cable rub on the belts?

Re: WAP347 THE RESURRECTION
S/P has now found the limit of its over 25 year standard capri pistons Engine is breathing bad & 3 of the 6 plugs are oiled up
so I think 9psi boost & abuse over the last 3 years eventually squashing & trapping the rings The pistons we're always the week link when I used to run nos Id like some advice on the best forged pistons on the market 3.1 capri Starting removing engine today

Fantastic engineering. Good luck with the engine rebuild.

Re: WAP347 THE RESURRECTION
Just a blown head gasket on S/P & valve guide seals need replacing on S/P result
Pistons look ok

Re: WAP347 THE RESURRECTION
Thats good news,i believe COMETIC do a multilayer gasket for the v6,good for forced induction engines, plus you can supposedly reuse them a couple of times, think maybe BURTONS stock them.
