It is looking really good. It is a shame my Alfie has come to a complete standstill.

Dont worry mate,Ive come to a bit of a stand still as well! Had a wee heart attack that was totally unplanned and very inconvenient so although I am on the mend, fortunately, other issues have had to be put aside for a bit. Think that I will be able to get back to it but time will tell, motto at the moment is one day at a time so the point of this is "keep your chin up",you never know what will happen next!

:? Sorry to hear of your health woes. Glad you are on the mend - as you say take things one bit at a time and enjoy the good moments without fretting about silly things. Hope you feel a bit stronger every day.

Hi,just a quick note to say all is going well and have even got back into doing a bit with "Chrissy"! As it has been so cold here of late I have been doing some small interior jobs, will try to put pics up later but installed a small extra console under the standard dash, made up some boards to go across the back panel behind the seats and have some material to cover them and also a panel (or 3 if truth be known) for the roof lining. The roof lining panel I have done in 3 sections, made from MDF board and consists of a panel above the driver, another above the passenger and one, slightly overlapping both at each end,in the middle, the explanation is a bit average but pics will explain, now I have to get busy and cover them. I have also fitted an emblem to the front grille panel that bears some small relevance to her name, again, have to wait for the pics. Will get back to the body work when weather warms up a bit,she is actually not that far off being driveable now, really just need to finish the brakes but all the small things seem to take the most time, anyway, pics to follow soon hopefully. Oh,she also has a new sibbling, unnamed to date, basically a rolling shell,it does have a driveline but no wiring and partially dis-assembled,expecting this to be more of a resto than a mod job.

Spent a small bit of time on "Chrissy" lately so throwing up a couple of pics. Not going to run standard bumpers so working on a custom front for it,not finished yet, also started making up the panel work for the basis of the interior upholstery, again, some fine tuning needed but the basics are there.

Ok,still plodding along with Chrissy, painted the internal rear window frame same color as dash, started to upholster the interior panels for the cab back, sorted some wiring which is a little messy as I did it in a rush but it works so not changing it at present and just what ever else pops up as I get to it. Also made and fitted a small "nerf bar" type front bumper however calling it a bumper is being over generous, thinking I may fit some bumper over-riders on the front, will wait and see, pics to follow later. Still struggling with the final color scheme,a harder decision than i thought it would be,already committed to the metallic red type color but not sure if to go 2 tone or all that color,am thinking semi gloss black with the red highlights on the front and rear guards to match the grill, still have time to decide.Main thing I have to get on with is finish the rear brakes and sort an effective handbrake system, thats it for now!

The frontal look Im going for, this is just a mock up,need to find some better quality over riders and finish off welding and aligning the splitters at the front base of the guards.

Been having a bit of a play with color today, think I am going main color as you see on the bonnet with highlights in satin black on the rear tub guards, the curved section of the front guards and doors and the grill. Have also set up the attachments for a sun visor but need help to lift it into place so waiting for someone to come home. Looking to find 2 good front bumper over-riders to fit to the front of the bumper mounts and took some pics with a color coded bonnet scoop to see what it looks like, still undecided....but looking at the pics, probably no to the scoop.

Hi all, haven't got around to doing much on any of the cars over the last few weeks but had a couple of hours today and felt the inclination to get on with something I had been delaying, the headlining. So my headlining panel is in 3 pieces and now that they are in position they are not coming out again any time soon so each has to be dealt with individually,I decided to start with the middle panel and will work out to each side. Taking it very carefully and slowly I have managed to complete the first panel and am quite happy with the outcome so roll on panels 2 and 3 but not today, have a couple of busy weeks ahead so not sure when I will do it but have the process worked out at least.
