Disc Brake Hubs

This Brake set up was sold recently on Fleabay and the ad stated that it fitted onto the Morris's standard hubs so I presume that the discs had been re-drilled.
So my question is if it's that simple why are we buying bespoke hubs?

Even some specific ones push the wheels out further, those look like they would do it even more.

The further out the wheels go the more stress on the wheel bearings and the wheels studs and the heavier the steering gets.

Do you need longer wheel studs with those.

These look like you'd only move the wheel out if you were to use the wheel spacers - are these for fitting 13" wheels? The discs themselves are probably not much thicker than the standard drums.
Looks like longer studs are included in the kit.

As the spacers and extended studs were with the kit I expect they are needed to allow a standard wheel to clear the calipers.

Possibly not needed if alternative are wheels used.
