Ford Puma Seats

Ford Puma Seats £50

These seats were removed from a 75,000mile 51 Plate Ford Puma and although they have been in my car a few years it has done little mileage with them fitted.

The drivers one is reasonable to good in my opinion. It doesn't sag (you don't tend to get heavy people in these seats as they are quite narrow).

Unfortunately as the pictures show because of their shape the drivers one has suffered some wear from getting in and out. I have not made any attempt to restore it so it may well be possible.

It also has a slight puncture on the back.

The Passengers seat is good to very good with only a slight spot of blue on it. It was there when i got them and i never tried to remove it in case i made it more obvious.

Both seats have had the bits of brackets removed so they sit flat, and also the seat belt fixings and pre-tensioning cartridges have been removed.

Only the drivers seat is height adjustable and only the passengers seat has the map pocket on the back.

Both seats tilt using the neat catch at the top, but a Morris wasn't made for a car with headrests. It hits the steering wheel so in practice only the passenger side is useable for getting in on a two door. Cant beat an original Morris hinged seat for access to the back :D

I am only selling these because i have changed to some Saab seats I got.

Bottom of this page and the following pages cover the original fitting of the Puma Seats and then the Saab ones.

I will include the subframes I made, but never completely tidied up and painted for the Puma Seats.

Unfortunately I do need the space so I can't hang on to these until the next Pateley Bridge and wrapping for a courier is not a practical proposition either.

I will put them on ebay at the weekend if no one on the forum is interested.

Thanks.

Sean.
