My '62 V8 Moggie

Postby Jingle » Sat Nov 03, 2018 8:27 am

Mabel, my 1962 V8, heavily modified, 2 door saloon, is now up for sale. Please have a look at my thread "My 62 V8 Minor" on this site, for plenty of pictures etc.
She is in pretty good shape, no issues at all (all previous ones contained in my thread sorted!!) Has a no advisories Mot till May 2019, NSRA (National Street Rod Association) agreed valuation (2018) of £10,000.
Anyone wanting a fully detailed spec list of what she is made up of etc, PM me and I can email one and plenty of pictures to you.
Have to say goodbye to her as I have bought my dream car as a retirement present to myself and my wife and with a fused left ankle and Mabel having a 5 speed manual box and new car an auto, she is going to be left in my garage rather a lot, so better to see her getting used by someone.
She is located in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Make me an offer, but consider the agreed valuation, I'm in no rush to sell her and she is advertised elsewhere too.
Thanks,
Jim G

I am interested in this, so much so that it was the reason to join this forum.
I can't find a link to the build thread.
Could you point me there please?
Thanks~

I would have thought that someone would have snapped it up by now as you couldn't build one for what you're asking.

TDV102;
I would ideally like to have the garage space freed up this year, but I'm in no major rush to sell her....so she could be "reserved" if you're mega keen. I just don't want to see her just sitting in my garage this year, when she could getting used and enjoyed by another.

A lot can happen in a year - thanks for the kind offer but I'm you will sell long before then - its worth every penny of the price and I'll wager it'll sell easily come spring and better weather. A glance at ebay shows how slow the market is at the moment.

TDV102;

Here's hoping she will sell, want the space in my garage!
Yep, quite a few classics, American motors etc, been on for quite some time. It will be a year tomorrow since I purchased my Corvette from Florida, which again, had been in the garage for sale at least 8 months before I bought it. Was a good time for me to buy, so someone always a winner!

If I had the money I would have snapped your arm off. This is exactly what I am after too. Hope it goes to a good home or I win on the lottery
