Hello, iv just come across a tip on removing runs from paint. Just wondered if anybody has tried it?

Basically you use fine filler and fill over the runs and around them. Then you sand them back with wet and dry sand paper (Obviously more course to begin with) Till the filler and runs and have gone. Then you can mop or polish it how you like. Looks a really good tip which il be trying where iv got to touch up the paint on my moggie and iv also got runs on a wing.

sounds like a good idea. You may have to roughen the paint slightly so that the filler will have better adhesion. Otherwise I could see the fill falling off just when you need it the most.
