Front wing labour queerie

Postby cococola » Sat Aug 24, 2019 8:02 pm

I had somebody hit my wing on my Morris Traveller and I would like an idea of labour and paint costs for painting and replacing the wing please.
I have the panel cost from Bullmotive and just need to decide which way I go regarding repair, I will look to bodyshops possibly after the bank holiday.

That's bad news, sorry to hear about the damage and hope you are OK.
Someone ran into me a few years ago and the wing had to be replaced along with a repair to the passenger door, If I remember correctly the final bill from the body shop came to about £1100 - that included a Heritage wing, a new hub cap and a tyre.

Thanks Panky, Unfortunately I was stationary and a van came across from the outside lane straight into me. After telling me that I was at faultI was fortunate that a lady witnessed everything  Dissapointed after all the hard work with the new woodwork but fortunately nobody hurt.
