Melted wire connector.

Post by Jonio »

Can anyone identify these wires, which have a melted block connector. Been looking at the diagram but haven’t worked it out yet.

Might explain why one isn’t working then.

They look blue/white, blue/red (main/dip lights) on my screen? I'm booked for an eye test next week though.

They’re blue guys. Dipper switch I’m told. Just got to find my trafficator wiring now. Thanks

Yes, those wires run to the dipswitch. I don't think the connector has melted so much as the rubber has perished. You probably just require a new connector. Does the dipswitch still work?

Yes . Just melted into a sticky mess. I thought it was burnt, but as you say, perished. The dipper still works.
