Starting motor

Postby Jimmy 167 » Sun Aug 12, 2018 1:49 pm

Busy week,I was at ITS getting new tyres fitted when my starter motor failed . The fitters were amazed to see a car being started using a starting handle . Got a new starter and solenoid on eBay and while fitting found it best to remove the oil filter ,so ordered a screw on filter kit from CW and had it within 24hrs ,very easy to fit once I moved the servo to get the old unit off . A few jobs done including a waterless wash ,can't use it today as it is raining .
