Would it be that the cover plates had to have holes drilled into the b-post to fit them, are there holes top and bottom of internal hole in b-post ,meaning you have to have a flat plate. many years ago when i was a small person my father had a car repair garage and i think i have a vague memory of being given the job of drilling holes and fitting the blanks on 4dr cars ,now i could be having a senior moment as well

Just a follow up as I had to figure this out. Got some help here from a few. More difficult than just contacting vendors as none replied or just said don't have any but wouldn't tell which ones. Anyway posting so someone in future might be searching
