Indicator nightmare, with rear lights

Postby morrison62 » Sun Oct 20, 2019 1:10 am

Hi everybody, year 4 of keeping morrison on the road, but this year not one drive, he's a 62 crossover year with red lights as indicators and a 8 way relay, after spending months rewelding the inner wings and replacing them to fiberglass wings I magically managed to buff the wiring up, finally realised after taking the front loom apart that you need a earth on the lights to get them to work, school boy mistake, so the issue at hand: no break lights, got power going in bad earth blows fuses, and indicators one side working when alll wires taken off at fuse box and some reconnected right works, I could really do with knowing what color wires are memt to go where and a diagram if anybody has one, any help would be sincerely appreciated as really stuck ratting brains, plus promised little one will take out this year after missing the summer runs so pressures on thanks guys josh

wirirng diagram is in the workshop manual on left side panel of the home page. it has the diagrams for various models, but indicator lights are the same colours in all green with red stripe for left hand side and green with white stripe for right hand side. I should have a diagram for the 8 way relay somewhere, i'll dig it out
