Another one for my retirement list, especially as I'm lateshift that weekend, so would struggle getting from Aberdeen to Brooklands and back in time!
But I've made sure that I've taken time off for Pateley Bridge - Hawaiian shirt sorted already :D

I quite fancy this Mick.

How far from you is this? I'd probably drive down on the Saturday and stay over in a hotel. It all depends on the salt situation but, realistically I would probably be in a modern.

Would you be coming out Saturday night for a beer?

:D Oh I agree - this 'Mother' is hoping to drive there tomorrow! (Think we might need a lot of hot flasks ready though as the van heating is rubbish and it looks set to be a very cold day!! )

Hopefully see some of you there!

Unfortunately I'm not going to make it now. The car needs to many jobs doing to it and I just haven't had the time. :(
Hope those that are going have a good time and the rain stays away.

:D Thanks for sharing your lovely photos Milts. You did well to get your camera out as it was rather chilly out there today - so no piccies from me, kept my gloves on instead!

How did you manage to get parked outside the garages? (We were late getting there - after Fin's winter hibernation starting was not simple and then there was an accident holding up traffic on M25. We were parked on the front part outside near the blue saloon in your photos. Dark green van with side windows.)

Hope you enjoyed your day out? It is a great place to visit, though it did not seem anywhere near as busy as previous years and the amount of folk prepared to do the test hill was also depleted in numbers. Still good fun though to watch some zipping up there with no problem :drive: . Hope the Mini that had to slide back down to the start was sorted in time to get himself home?

Hello Plin

Getting parked outside the garages was purely down to luck, just happened to get directed there by the marshaling guys, a nice bonus for a backdrop when taking the odd photo me thinks. Also for those of us with poor computer skills if you click on the photos you get a nice larger image

I agree it is a lovely place to visit, i'm fortunate being fairly local and able to use the Brooklands membership and attend their many car advents.
