I gave in and took Matilda for a 50 miles round trip that included Richmond, Leyburn and a number of villages along the way. We only saw one other classic car, a Jaguar, as we entered Richmond. A wave was exchanged. Did anyone else get out?

Here Matilda is in Richmond's Market Square. It was busy and we only stopped to take the image. She was in a loading bay! They are celebrating 950 years since the Normans started building the castle. I'm not sure it is finished yet but you can see the tower is up...

Those Richmond cobbles are awful when wet or icy - braking coming downhill was not advised. A good test for shocks though.
