New gear arrived but needed fettling as it wasn't mashing properly & was slowing the machine. Stitching complete now for the fitting, halfway in ;) pics upside down for some reason :think

Front 3/4 has gone well, rear sectin around the back window not so good. Leatherette acts differently to vinyl, I'm not sure if I'm gonna have to cut it & put extra stitch joins in :think

I would be tempted to measure the last big panel in the roof first.

Mine isn't ideal, whoever replaced it didn't replace the wood at the front so it isn't as tight at the front as it should be.

But I think the join to the rear quarter is still higher up the C pillar.

There is probably more stretch in the leatherette than the original material also a little stretch on each join will probably allow the whole lot to grow a bit.

I know it took my mum a while to get a motorcycle seat redone for me, it definitely didn't go right first time.
