A series MEtro wheels

Does anyone know if A series MEtro wheels fit the Minor, just for moving the car in the garage? :) thanks

the early metro's appear to be 96.5 mm so will probably not fit.. later metros were 100mm will fit and allow you to role the car around the garage they would not be suitable for use on the road though.

there are plenty of other cars with 100mm pcd which would allow you to move the car around.

You need 4 inch .... not 100 mm
if you are silly enough to use 100mm then do not tighten wheel nuts as you will bend the studs.

The Metro wheels certainly don't fit.....look for old Minor or Austin A35/A40/ Spridget wheels....

A series metros are 101.6 lile a mini and Minor, but what about offset etc, thats why im asking

Well the a series type are definetly 101.6 :) the centre bore might be small tho got some ill try on sometime :)

Must have been 'specials' sent to Malta ....the UK ones are NOT 4" They are 3.75".

Those are the k series ones Roy ;) 1980 - 1990 a series metros are 101.6 k series 1991 - 1998 are 95.25 same as mgf

I'll concede you may be right Frank.........it's beginning to come back to me.......but I think maybe the wheel offset means no go...... There are no 'old' Metros left now... I understand the MGF is basically two Metro front subframes joined in the middle..

If you're just moving the car into the garage, and the offset is no good, you could always bolt the wheels on the wrong way around ;)

Yes, the MG Midget Rostyle wheels are plentiful and sell for very little money.
