What ford steels for the back of my van on an escort axle

Standard, alternative, alloys too
Hello all, I am collecting the bits todo the Escort rear axle conversion.
All I need now are wheels and tyres, I was wanting steels.

Can anyone advise, size and offset and which ford they would be on?

Thanks Tom

Oh and I blow the gearbox and diff last week

There is an offset calc somewhere on here. You probably want Citreon or Pug steel wheels (same hole spacing as ford 4 stud but different offset). the ford ones are the wrong offset. The escort handbrake works well. Link shows my conversion to ford axle which was rushed due to needing the car for commute to work!

Thanks I will get some wheels as soon as, just blown another marina diff......

Do you just drill out the diff output flange to fit the moggy prop?

Scrap that question, I just read your thread, re-drilling the flange will suit after all that's what I do with the Marina diffssssssssss

Yes that's probably best way. I meant to get mine balanced but seeing as I don't have any vibration issues have never got round to it. Just make sure you mark it out accurately and use the proper bolts, not cheap standard ones.
