Midget diff, might go for a reasonable price

Postby Smokey » Fri Jan 26, 2018 5:09 pm

I've been looking for a Midget diff to put in my Minor for quite a while (I had one when I first put the 1275 in it, but I killed it and have been running the original Minor one for ages) - just like buses, two reasonably priced ones come along at once - I bagged the first one, but anyone looking for one might be interested in eBay item: 222803843022 - doesn't seem to have attracted the interest they normally do.

Unless you know what differential is fitted it is of very low value. It is only the last of the Midgets which had the desirable 3.9:1 ratio differential.
The ratio in an earlier model or a frogeye Sprite would be the same as a standard Minor.

Because I just got a 3.9, I didn't get as far as asking about the ratio.
