I have a rear axle for sale from my 71 van, when this was bought I was told that the diff from a wolsey 1500. Need some help to idetify if it is really said diff, the numbers I have found are BTA54--C and the words MOWOO. The two dashes are numbers I can not read, also 5 wheels and tyres will be for sale.
Look forward to some help.

The crown wheel and pinion teeth number are usually stamped on the diff itself (not the outer axle casing/'pumpkin'), i.e., 9/41 gives a (41 divided by 9) ratio of 4.55:1.

I gather most Wolseley 1500s had a 3.7:1 diff.
