And if you read the various past posts on the subject - the filters that are available today have TOO BIG a hole - and drop the oil pressure dangerously low.  You can buy a little adapter that fits in the block to bring the hole back to the correct size......Declan pioneered this - not sure if he is making/selling them.....

interesting, bmcecosse, is it on ebay? i'm not aware of pressure problems but only have a gauge with no problem range identified, when engine first started it indicates ~70 for 90 secs then drops to ~40 (middle) for the rest of the trip, is that normal?
It increases with revs.
It did drop to 20 when oil level was low for a while.
