Hi Folks,
The cooling fins on this rad. replacement for the van are very thin and like paper, still good to use? Doesnt seem to leak, but I dont spose I will find that out until I fit it and theres some pressure.!
Still its better than whats fitted at the mo.

Thanks, Will give it a coat of paint and fit it. What are the little fins for? Air flow for cooling?
Cheers

Yes, they conduct the heat from the water in the tubes.

If it holds water ok then in this country unless you are stuck in a traffic jam in the middle of summer then it will probably be fine.

It is a big radiator for a relatively small low powered engine.

You can even mend the odd leak by scraping the fins away and soldering the odd hole in a tube.
