Yup. Just over a day-ish in cold water with a cup full of acid powder. The black staining is from the original black paint.

Hi Guys, Forgive my ignorance being a new owner... no doubt from the tone of this thread I am about to make a "site banning" statement but I actually thought that this was the Owners Club Forum... whoops...lol I have to say that I was a little disappointed with the MMOC website when first looking as you cannot make purchases online and there was a lack of in depth information I would have expected from a large club... Some twenty years ago I was a member of the MGOC and that was brilliant, though this was pre internet explosion days when you got a monthly mag sent to you full of adverts from suppliers of parts, very important for rebuild work as I am sure that you will agree. Have to say usually hate forums but have found this to be helpful and interesting well done to admins... (hope I have redeemed myself)..lol

I find both forums pretty good, but they definitely have different flavours. MMOC is a bit more formal and this forum a bit more relaxed. At least that's my take on it.

You'll find good technical info and friendly people on both. Same people in many cases.

Hi Brian, yes to be fair thinking that this was the MMOC forum I have not looked at their own one.... I am sure I came to this site whilst looking at the MMOC website god knows how... but always open minded... you can never get enough information no matter what source as long as it is valid...lol but as I said I was very disappointed with their online shop and the fact that at present at least you can not order anything online. :?

Yes, they have had ongoing website problems since last year.

 don't worry we are very friendly over here and banning is an extremely rare. As Brian has already said many of us appear on both forums, so enjoy gleaning info from wherever it is helpful, but being biased I would say our MMO can be a friendlier site :D

Shame the MMOC site is still not quite functioning as it probably should be (by the way we have our own merchandise too!). Oh and of course unlike the MMOC we being a forum only sort of club do not have any membership fee lark!

Another positive here is the support for the Tapatalk app. Much easier if you use a smart phone more than a pc
