And so wee little tweaks continue, especially during Lockdown.
Can’t drive them anywhere so may just continue to do the little things.

Haven't been on here for a while.
Mk2 looks pretty solid.
Radius arms to stop that axle tramp with all that power you're planning, damn good decision.
2 years from now it should be up and running..

Re: Project Pick-Up.!!!
Greetings to All, This Covid 19 and good weather is no doubt driving us all slightly insane as we remain couped up in our homes. Before the lock down, March 6th 2020, I was taking the wee Pick Up out for it's first 2020 run. It was a fine day and I thought I'd have a Pick Up fix and dust down the co...

Re: Project Pick-Up.!!!
You’d already be surprised what’s hidden under the bed, servo, battery, fuel pumps, swirl pot etc and what little space you actually have after all these tucked away essentials.(Not impossible if I really wanted to pursue it) Also added to that is the exhaust. Pipe work would be an art though... Did...

Re: Project Pick-Up.!!!
I should add to my 2020 Bucket list, e) Take it down the 1/4 mile at Santa Pod. WAP347 and myself need to see them on the line together there and Run. (This is his domain so I expect to come 2nd.!) Saying this, if PU run's a 13.xx that's as much as I could ask for. Dunk, as for Zetec BHP. Didn't go ...

Re: Project Pick-Up.!!!
Thanks Chaps for responses. Those Rs3’s 400 bhp as standard and with a simple chip and tune become 500bhp. While I’m all up for technology, taking some of the fun out of the sport IMO. And as for Cossie’s , there’s a Yellow escort that runs down the pod on 14 or 15” wheels that runs in the 9’s. Much...

Lotus Engine, Engine Mounts and Exhaust Manifold are sitting in my garage waiting for the right buyer.MM wrote:What actual engine do you now have fitted, and what became of the Lotus twin-cam?

As for its new heartbeat, BDA styled Engine is the chosen replacement.
