Numpty schoolboy error when wiring modern radio!

Maybe I'm the only one who has made the following mistake, but just in case anyone else has a similar issue ... Some years ago I fitted a Kenwood CD radio in my pickup. For various reasons I have only driven the pickup quite infrequently in the past few years, and I have often wondered why my batter...

Neiman 66 ignition switch wiring

A while ago I fitted a Neiman 66 steering lock to my pickup, but hadn't yet wired up the ignition switch because I couldn't find any definitive wiring instructions anywhere. A few days ago I worked through all the possible combinations and I have now got a setup that works OK. I thought I'd put a fe...

Using MGB brake calipers with Marina discs

Hi All, I'm hoping to get a bit of advice about using MGB calipers with Marina discs. Up till now I have been running standard Marina discs/calipers. I've read on here about a few people using MGB calipers instead to give a bit more stopping power; so I decided to investigate this. Before buying any...

I never met Cliff in person, but I can only agree with all the previous posts ... he was a stalwart of this forum, always very friendly and helpful and encouraging, and will indeed be sorely missed by all. Condolences to all his family and close friends.

Re: Indicator problem

In my experience this could be due to a poor earth for an indicator bulb holder, or a loose connection somewhere in the feed to a bulb (on the driver's side it is the green/white wires); or it could even be that a bulb is not seated correctly in the bulb holder; or maybe even a bulb itself is blown....
